Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University was earlier known as Rajendra Agricultural University which was established in 1970. In the year 2016, it was converted to Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University. It was established with the goal of enhancing the quality of life by providing research based quality education and creating hardworking and intellectual manpower at par with the national and global standards. It is recognised by ICAR. Vision: It aims at excellence in education, research, entrepreneurship, and agriculture, offering specialised services to farmers, and advances their professional competency to cater to the local, national, and international needs. Mission: The University is committed towards promoting high quality learning, nurture the national and global needs through advanced interventions, develop understanding regarding the environmental and socio-economic significance, and facilitate the need for sustainable food production. The University has its constituent units which cater to the educational needs of the society by providing them with different programs.
