About Campus life
Located at Sector 14, Dwarka, the campus of the university is modern and fulfills all the needs of students. It has a modern and well-furnished infrastructure that meets all the academic and social requirements of the students. The campus is student-friendly and ragging free which provides a safe space to grow and learn for the students. Apart from this, the university organises various cultural fests and events that motivate the students to take part in and showcase their hidden talents or hobbies. NLU has well-equipped smart classrooms with projectors, internet, and digital podiums to facilitate the learning and teaching process, seminar halls, and conference rooms, along with many other services and amenities like:
Library: To provide the students with excellent academic resources, the university has established a well-stocked library known as Justice TPS Chawla Library. The library has a separate building with two floors and it can be accessed easily by scholars and researchers. The library provides both print and digital services to the students as it has a collection of more than 37000 books, bound volumes, 180+ subscribed national & international journals, national & regional language newspapers, magazines, 230+ DVDs & CDs, 470+ e-books, and other online databases. The library is equipped with an excellent internet connection and a reading area to facilitate book lovers. In addition, the library keeps the students updated as it has regular information related to Judgments of the Supreme Court of India, Newspaper Clippings of Articles, Book Alerts, Article Alerts, etc.
Computer Centre: NLU Delhi owns a well-furnished and updated Computer Centre with laptops and computer systems. This centre was established to equip the students with advanced digital knowledge and training. The centre has high-speed internet facilities with a comfortable seating area, allowing the students to perform their research work and other assignments easily.
Hostels: The University has individual halls of residence (hostels) for boy and girl students. The hostel campus is spacious with furnished, neat, and maintained rooms. Wardens and security guards are present in the hostel campus to provide a safe and disciplined hostel environment to the hostellers. For recreation purposes, the hostel has a common room, a TV room, different indoor games, etc. Mess services are also provided to the hostellers who offer delicious, healthy, and home-like food to the students.
E-Moot Court Hall: To prepare the students for their future roles, the university has established a state-of-the-art e-moot court hall. This moot court is equipped with hi-tech audio and visual facilities and it has a seating capacity of more than 160 people.
Auditorium: NLU has an equipped, technical, and air-conditioned auditorium with excellent audio and video facilities. The seating of the auditorium is comfortable and can accommodate more than 600 people at a time. The university uses this auditorium facility for organising conferences, seminars, annual functions, award shows, cultural programs, etc.
Sports: The University has game facilities for both girls and boys, and it also encourages the students to take an active part in various sports. NLU facilitates the students with games like Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis, etc. A well-equipped gymnasium is also available on the campus to promote physical fitness and health among the students.
Cafeteria: The University has a furnished, modern, and spacious cafeteria that provides delicious and healthy menu to the students. The seating arrangement of the cafeteria is comfortable and allows the students to relax in between or after classes.
Health Facilities: The University provides professional medical facilities to the students 24x7 and for this; it has established a medical room. Expert nurses are present in the medical room and a doctor visits the campus every day for checkups. To overcome emergency situations, an ambulance is also present on campus round the clock.
